Some potential buyers of vacation homes are sitting on the fence with uncertainty over how Covid-19 might affect the rental potential of their property. However according to a new Forbes Magazine article, Florida’s short term rentals are expected to sharply increase this winter.
This past summer saw huge demand and current owners are looking towards a winter season where nightly rates may double even in the face of Covid-19 cases trending up. During the summer prices were up 15-20% in south Florida according to property manager Farid Gazizov.
